Declaration of consent to being nominated
A candidate of a constituency nomination or on a Land list shall declare his or her consent to being nominated in writing on an official form and personally sign it by hand. This is to prevent a person from being nominated as a candidate without his or her consent, which would be a violation of the person’s right to privacy and the right to informational self-determination. Such declaration of consent to being nominated shall be irrevocable.
