Repeat election
If an election is declared wholly or partly invalid as a result of the electoral scrutiny procedure, it is repeated in line with the respective decision. The election result is established anew as a consequence of the repeat election.
The 2021 election to the German Bundestag was repeated in 455 polling districts in Berlin on 11 February 2024. On account of the repeat election, the result of the election to the 20th German Bundestag was established anew.
