2024 European election: deadline for corrections to electoral registers ends soon

WIESBADEN – The Federal Returning Officer advises all eligible voters who have not received their voter’s notification by 19 May 2024 to contact their municipality immediately to verify whether they have been entered correctly in the electoral register.

Citizens have until 24 May 2024 to inspect the electoral register and check the accuracy and completeness of the data entered. Anyone who considers the information in the electoral register to be incorrect or incomplete should address this with the municipal authority and, if necessary, lodge an objection with the municipal authority as per Section 21 of the European Electoral Regulations by 24 May 2024.
