Voting without a voter’s notification

WIESBADEN – Persons entitled to vote who have misplaced or lost their voter’s notification can nevertheless cast their vote in the European Election on 25 May 2014. As the Federal Returning Officer points out, this requires however that they are listed in the voters’ register of their polling district. Upon request, the local authority will let voters know at which polling station they should cast their vote. At the polling station, the persons entitled to vote will have to present their identity card, passport or driving licence if requested by the electoral board.
